Disney's new Vision house at EPCOT

After having Sunday brunch at the Market Street Cafe in Celebration  we headed over to EPCOT and spent a little time there during the 2012 International flower festival and went to see the new Vision house at Innoventions. Here are a few photos:

The living areas are very relaxing after a hot day of walking through the parks. Great place to sit down and enjoy your favorite shows.

The kitchen has many energy efficient devices and lost of little touches like the dishwasher  that can do very small loads and use much less water.

All of the lighting is LED, but it comes with a price tag of $1000. Also, the island top is made from recycled glass, but the texture is really smooth and the colors were nice.

The table below has been in the family for years and that is a great way to save some money, but the chairs need some help.

The Armstrong floors are a nice touch.

The design on the wall is cool to match the cool blue, but the bead is a little small. Still an interesting room because you can remotely control everything in the room with the AMX system.

The blind are contained in the windows so no more dusting blinds. Now that is worth the expense.

His and Hers
Rub a dub...
Lots of cool stuff in the house and some interesting ideas on recycling and reusing to make a greener house and finally finishing with a water saving toilet, but with a price tag $6500 not sure how long it will take to recover the cost.
